El Husseini in the London meeting The Mecca Document is an explicit call for community unity and the promotion of human values

The scholar Mohamad Ali El Husseini accepted the invitation of  the Muslim World League, to meet religious leaders in Europe and the United Kingdom, which was held in the British capital, London, to discuss what should be done collectively in order to promote unity, community coexistence and common human values ​​on the basis of principles Mecca Document.

 

El Husseini stressed that the Mecca Document clearly and explicitly called for the strengthening of societal unity by highlighting Islamic principles, consolidating common human moral values, and encouraging lofty social practices, and this is the duty of all, as well as cooperation in addressing ethical, environmental and family challenges, in accordance with common Islamic and human concepts.

 

Mohamad El Husseini stressed that these values ​​and principles are alive and effective, and not closed on themselves and do not accept openness to the other, or as some of those affected by Islamophobia seek, claiming that this religion does not agree with the values ​​of human civilization and contradicts them, but the opposite is true, because Islam With its moderate teachings and its tolerant values, it is compatible with human and civilized values, and even constitutes its beating heart, and it is able to work with them side by side for the good of humanity.
