First Meeting of European and UK Muslim Leaders: Promoting Unity and Community Coexistence
The sincere and blessed efforts that the Muslim World League has been making for the interest of the Islamic nation in a manner that guarantees it goodness, prosperity, righteousness and a prosperous future, especially since his Excellency the Secretary-General of the League Dr. Mohamad AbdulKarim Al Issa, The Islamic nation has become a model and a role model for bearing responsibility and managing matters within the limits of its work. These efforts have yielded with God’s help, will and abundant blessings by announcing the honorable Mecca Document, which has been achieved once again to the whole world, since Islam is a good tree that is edible for all of humanity and not only for Muslims.
The Makkah Document is a religious and intellectual reference for consolidating the values and principles of Islam.
The Holy Mecca Document, which granted honor to the scholars and muftis of the Islamic nation of various sects, provided that they assume their responsibilities and continue the path and path that their predecessors set when they announced the Medina Document, which is in fact a civil document of its kind in human history. What is striking here is that the Mecca Document is not just a media activity. Or a specific cultural one, but rather it is an intellectual-cultural-civilizational-human project that reflects the bright essence of Islam, and most importantly, the work and activities of the scholars of the Islamic nation and its prominent symbols did not end with the announcement of this blessed document, but rather it is a beginning to roll up the sleeves and work, and the sixteenth item of the Document Makkah Al-Mukarramah confirmed this, as it came in it:
Consolidating noble moral values and encouraging lofty social practices: the duty of all, as well as cooperation in addressing ethical, environmental, and family challenges, in accordance with common Islamic and human concepts.
Strengthening unity and community coexistence is one of the fruits of the Mecca Document
In this regard, at the invitation of MWL the Muslim World League, God Almighty will hold in the British capital London on Saturday and Sunday the 10th and 12th, an intellectual meeting to discuss what can be collectively worked for in order to Strengthening unity and community coexistence on the basis of the principles of the Mecca Document, which calls for such an effort, as we mentioned earlier in item sixteen
It is expected that about 150 participants from imams, community leaders and Muslim religious leaders from Europe and the United Kingdom will attend this meeting, which we would be happy to participate in.
This meeting aims to introduce participants to the principles of the Mecca Document and its application to issues of social and economic justice that concern all humanity, and to discuss the best ways to implement the principles of the Document in order to achieve the goals of promoting unity and community coexistence, and to create a forum for communication and cooperation that meets periodically to follow up on the implementation of the outcomes of this gathering.
This important meeting, especially in terms of dealing with very important topics in a world of turmoil and rivalries, is in dire need of such meetings that establish peaceful coexistence, unity and harmony, and reject ideas and values that call for hatred, violence, extremism and terrorism.
Finally, we affirm that working to promote unity and community coexistence, and striving with God’s help and will to activate and implement it on the ground, is in fact one of the fruits of the Mecca Document, which will effectively contribute to the good of all mankind.
