The Secretary General of the Arab Islamic Council, Mohamad Ali El Husseini, participated in the conference of parliamentarians and religious leaders to promote coexistence and peace, which was held on February 12 in Sarajevo.
The conference was held under the chairmanship of the House of Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in partnership and cooperation with the Muslim World League.
El Husseini drew attention to the religious and political axes related to the current global issue of ways to establish peace, end conflicts, and highlight the values of accepting others and coexisting with them in accordance with the common human ties called for by divine religions.
During his participation, Dr. Mohamad Ali El Husseini praised the importance of holding this global conference, the first of its kind, the size of international participation in it, and its contribution to strengthening religious diplomacy, noting that the conference constitutes an important scientific, practical, political and religious partnership and cooperation aimed at consolidating, achieving and enhancing ways of peaceful coexistence between societies
